Unwrap the Gift God Gave You

We will continue Part 4 of our Library of Grace Series as the new year rolls in with the Book of Joel, but for now, Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Philippians 2:12-16 in this Christmas holiday sermon archive from 12/22/13…
The glory of God will become very visible as we begin to unwrap the personal obstacles that block its brilliance thus, allowing the world to see the marvelous work of God’s meticulous hand.  If we intend on being Christian workers that seek to a

How to Hear and Obey God’s Voice

This general Library of Grace collection of sermons are past messages with landmark emphasis to help us review the purpose of authentic discipleship.  In this message from 7/14/13, Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Deuteronomy 28:1-2.  There are two main distinguishing characteristics of a true disciple of Christ – (1) they will hear the voice of Jesus, their Victorious Resurrected Shepherd of their soul, and (2) they will follow, or obey Him.  These encounters cause true disciples of Christ to have a direct, personal, or intimate relationship with Jesus that causes them to know…How to Hear and Obey God’s Voice.

The Sacrifice of True Worship

This general Library of Grace collection of sermons are past messages with landmark emphasis to help us review the purpose of authentic discipleship.  In this message from 11/24/13, Sr. Pastor A. A.  Jackson shares from 1 John 1:5-10:

The sacrifice of true worship is God’s call to worship, which is a call to “repentance and the pursuit of a godly life-style.”  Answering His call gives us the purpose and evidence of true worship.  But, with these is the ongoing process of purity, of cleansing from sin.  This can only be possible and open to us when we answer God’s invite appropriately and in a timely fashion.  We must reciprocate His love by opening up ourselves to His cleansing instructions.

Love Letter #28 – Hosea – Agape is Stronger Than Eros

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Hosea 10:12 – Hosea helps us to see how we break God’s heart when we turn our backs to Him, going after what will hinder and hurt us, which will in turn, hinder and hurt all others to whom we are directly and indirectly connected.  Eros based endeavors divide and weaken, while agape based ones unite and strengthen all.

Love Letter #27 – Daniel – Jesus is Our Righteous Lawyer, Judge, and Jury

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Dan 6:26-28 – Thank God for prayer warrior examples like the prophet Daniel.  He seemed to be connected to the very pulse of God’s Holy Vein.  It’s not just what he believed, but when he believed it.  No matter the test or trial in the heavens or the earth, his testimony let’s us know that we can yet rest assured that – Jesus is Our Righteous Lawyer, Judge, and Jury!

Love Letter #26 – Ezekiel: A Holy Hunger Will Bring Revival

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Ezekiel 11:19-21 – It is heaven’s anointing that will destroy the chains of our earthly-hellbound habits.  We can expect a good fight of holy faith as the flesh seeks to stay in communion with spirits that are against God’s will.  So, let’s be encouraged to love God with such intensity, that the satanic strongholds seeking to block revival will be broken and destroyed.

Love Letter #25 – Lamentations – Stop Dancing in the Ditch, Let God Deliver You!

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Lamentations 3:22-23 – God wants us to learn from Israel’s ancient lesson during the days of the prophet Jeremiah that something good happens in suffering that cannot happen in pleasure: A fork in the road is reached.  You begin to recognize your real spiritual position…you have fallen into a ditch, from which only God can rescue you!  But, will you answer His gracious call of salvation, or allow the deceitful pleasures of this finite world keep you captive unto an eternal peril?

Love Letter #24 – Jeremiah: The Eternal Reservoir of Hope

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Jeremiah 29:11 – The main scripture text for this message is one of the popular prosperity scriptures used by today’s postmodern fortune telling preachers.  However, when it is examined correctly, its emphasis was not readily accepted by the majority of its initially intended audience.  For in the darkest despair of reaping a painful and even fatal harvest sown by their self-righteous rebellious hearts, came these grac
