Love Letter #33 – Micah – The Purpose of True Worship

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Micah 6:8 and Matthew 23:23 – When we worship according to Heaven’s protocol, we are cultivating a right relationship with God, which will continuously challenge us to be God’s eternal associate in all that we do.  The basic purpose of true discipleship is for one to experience the divine transformation process of being like Jesus.

Love Letter #32 – Jonah – Lord, Work on Me, and Put Me to Work! Part 1

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Jonah 1:1-3; Matthew 12:38-42; Philippians 1:3-6 – Are you displaying God’s heart of grace to a spiritually lost world?  Every part of our being needs God’s grace.  Evil biases and unholy pet peeves can hinder faithful obedience to God’s will in our lives.  As Christian workers we have a part to play in the advancement of God’s kingdom.  Hearing the wrong voice can derail and detour our faith journey.  We cannot allow the enemy’s voice to deter us from the holy narrow way of God.  When that happens we will hesitate to worship and trust God.

Love Letter #32 – Jonah – Lord, Work on Me, and Put Me to Work! Part 2

Sr. Pastor A.

Love Letter #31- Obadiah – Let Worship be Your Warfare

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares fom Obadiah verses 1-4: Vengeance in our hands, which amounts to getting even, obstructs God’s plan. Vengeance in God’s hands, which removes obstacles to community, furthers the holy plan.  God tends to allow things to come into our lives, which will seem inconsistent with His good plan for us.  Little things, small irritations, and even big things such as health concerns and relational issues.  However, we cannot allow the enemy’s voice to deter us from the holy narrow way of God.  When that happens we will hesitate to worship and trust Him.

Love Letter #30 – Amos – Real Worship Produces Real Change

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Amos 8:11-14 – False ideas about God will only result in producing faithlessness, driving aggravated souls to the dark safety of atheism.  We must see the Holy God of All Creation for Who He really is – An Untamed Seemingly Unapproachable Holy Lion Who is yet full of compassion as The Welcoming Lamb Without Spot or Blemish.  Amos helps us to maintain a line of holy demarcation where God is GOD LORD OF ALL and there is none like HIM.  We cannot stand in His holy presence and survive without His protective covering as found in His Son, Jesus as Savior.

Love Letter #29 – Joel – How to Relax, Release, and Relate in Holiness

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Joel 2:28, 29 – Let’s take this thought into this new year ahead of us, that we cannot do anything that will obligate God to submit to our will.  It was He that made us, and not we ourselves (100th Psalm).  There is so much peace awaiting us if we will only relax in God’s gracious hands, allowing Him to keep us in perfect peace (based on Isaiah 26:3).  When we relax like that, it releases everythi

Are You Doing All You Can or All You Can’t?

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Philippians 4:13 – Even though he was in prison, facing an uncertain future, the Apostle Paul wrote Philippians as a thank-you letter to the Church at Philippi, a letter that expressed his abundant joy in what God was accomplishing through them.  We can do all things through Christ, the only means of maintaining holy strength.  Only He can bless us to do all that He intends for us to do!

Unwrap the Gift God Gave You

We will continue Part 4 of our Library of Grace Series as the new year rolls in with the Book of Joel, but for now, Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Philippians 2:12-16 in this Christmas holiday sermon archive from 12/22/13…
The glory of God will become very visible as we begin to unwrap the personal obstacles that block its brilliance thus, allowing the world to see the marvelous work of God’s meticulous hand.  If we intend on being Christian workers that seek to a

How to Hear and Obey God’s Voice

This general Library of Grace collection of sermons are past messages with landmark emphasis to help us review the purpose of authentic discipleship.  In this message from 7/14/13, Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shares from Deuteronomy 28:1-2.  There are two main distinguishing characteristics of a true disciple of Christ – (1) they will hear the voice of Jesus, their Victorious Resurrected Shepherd of their soul, and (2) they will follow, or obey Him.  These encounters cause true disciples of Christ to have a direct, personal, or intimate relationship with Jesus that causes them to know…How to Hear and Obey God’s Voice.

The Sacrifice of True Worship

This general Library of Grace collection of sermons are past messages with landmark emphasis to help us review the purpose of authentic discipleship.  In this message from 11/24/13, Sr. Pastor A. A.  Jackson shares from 1 John 1:5-10:

The sacrifice of true worship is God’s call to worship, which is a call to “repentance and the pursuit of a godly life-style.”  Answering His call gives us the purpose and evidence of true worship.  But, with these is the ongoing process of purity, of cleansing from sin.  This can only be possible and open to us when we answer God’s invite appropriately and in a timely fashion.  We must reciprocate His love by opening up ourselves to His cleansing instructions.
